The Starting Over Manifesto

A letter to whoever wanders in — intentionally or by accident.
Dear reader,
You’ve arrived at a moment of transition — not just for this little corner of the internet, but for me. Everything here is part of a quiet, determined rebuilding of my creative life.
Over the past few years, I’ve been dismantling old structures, clearing out outdated expectations, and letting go of versions of myself that no longer fit. Some things slipped through the cracks — websites, mailing lists, entire digital ecosystems — like socks disappearing in a dryer. Others I allowed to fall apart so that I could rebuild them with intention.
Once again, we are at the beginning.
This isn’t a dramatic rebirth. No phoenix, no fireworks, no triumphant orchestral swell. Think of it more like a soft reset: me standing in a quiet room, flipping the lights back on, and saying, “Okay. Let’s try this again.”
I’m writing from a calmer place now. A place that doesn’t feel the pressure to perform. A place that values clarity, curiosity, and the kind of creativity that feels like breathing instead of auditioning for the internet’s approval.
This author space is being rebuilt with that spirit — with a slow, thoughtful intent, and with the understanding that beginnings don’t need an audience to matter.
If you’re reading this, you’re witnessing the start of a new phase in my life. One that feels more aligned, more authentic, and far less chaotic than the versions that came before.
But if I sometimes vanish into an afternoon slump only to reappear at midnight like a caffeinated cryptid clutching a notebook… well, that’s just part of my creative process that I will never shed.
Once again, welcome to the beginning. Whether you stay, wander off, or return later, this message will remain — a reminder that starting over isn’t a failure. It’s a choice.
